How to Play Craps
Roll the Dice: A Beginner's Guide to Playing Craps
Craps is a popular casino game that is enjoyed by players of all levels of experience. It's a game of chance that is played with dice and involves a variety of betting options. At Royale Flush Gaming, we provide Craps tables and professional dealers for events and parties, where you can play for fun and prizes without actually gambling. Here's a guide to the basics of how to play Craps:
The Objective of the Game
The objective of the game is to correctly predict the outcome of the roll of the dice.
The Rules of the Game
The game begins with a come-out roll, where the shooter rolls the dice.
If the come-out roll is a 7 or 11, the shooter wins.
If the come-out roll is a 2, 3, or 12, the shooter loses.
If the come-out roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the "point."
The shooter continues to roll until they roll the point number again, in which case they win.
If the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point number, they lose.
The Betting Options
Pass Line: The most common bet in Craps. The player wins if the come-out roll is a 7 or 11 and loses if it's a 2, 3, or 12. If the come-out roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the point, and the player wins if the point is rolled again before a 7 is rolled.
Don't Pass Line: The opposite of the Pass Line. The player wins if the come-out roll is a 2 or 3 and loses if it's a 7 or 11. If the come-out roll is a 12, it's a push (tie). If the come-out roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the point, and the player wins if a 7 is rolled before the point number is rolled again.
Come Bet: Similar to the Pass Line, but can be placed after the come-out roll.
Don't Come Bet: Similar to the Don't Pass Line, but can be placed after the come-out roll.
Place Bets: Betting on a specific number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) to be rolled before a 7.
Field Bet: Betting on the next roll being a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12.
Proposition Bets: Betting on a specific outcome of the next roll.
